El Avisador Magazine was establish in San Jose California, in the month of November in 1986. Founded by Juan Jose Ruiz Yero (R.I.P.), born in Cienfuegos Las Villas, Cuba; Publicist and Printer, director and editor of the Havana Newspaper "Noticias en Letras" published in the 1940's in Cuba's Capital; A Human rights activist, for the freedom and well-being of his Cuba. Son of the journalist Juan Ruiz, columnist of the newspaper "La Correspondencia" in the city of Cienfuegos, Cuba.

On his arrival to San Jose, California, at the age of 76, he begins a new phase of his life and his struggle to help the Hispanic community in the Bay Area with his children and grandchildren leading the Hispanic company today.
